my fav smoothie recipes

One of my absolute favorite things to start my morning with is one of these smoothies. I make all of them with my Ninja blender (best investment ever), fresh frozen fruits, and Herbalife French Vanilla shake mix. Obviously all of these shakes can be adjusted – use these recipes as a base to experiment with – if you have a protein mix you really love or already use products from another company (example: Arbonne) I am sure that you can adjust these recipes to work for you. OR, if you prefer to not use a powder base, just opt for water, juice, or your favorite milk instead.

One other important note – all of the fruit that I use in my smoothies is frozen. I find that frozen fruit creates the best consistency, especially frozen banana. It makes it much creamier. YUM!

Strawberry Banana Blend

  • 3 whole strawberries
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 scoops of Herbalife French Vanilla Shake mix
  • pinch of chia seeds
  • 3 ice cubes
  • BLEND + sprinkle with coconut on top

Spinach + Mango

*don’t be intimidated or scared by the spinach in this one – the mango and vanilla shake powder sweeten it up and the spinach actually creates a super thick consistency!

  • 3 organic mango pieces (I get mine from Trader Joe’s)
  • about 1 cup of spinach (also from Trader Joe’s)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 scoops of Herbalife French Vanilla Shake mix
  • 3 ice cubes
  • BLEND + sprinkle with coconut on top

Berry-Berry

  • ¾ cup of frozen berry mix (blackberries, raspberries and blueberries from Trader Joe’s)
  • ½ banana
  • 2 strawberries (optional)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 scoops of Herbalife French Vanilla shake mix
  • 1 scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen
  • 3 ice cubes
  • BLEND + enjoy

Tropical Blend  

  • 3 mango pieces
  • 2 pineapple pieces
  • 3 slices of peach
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 scoops of Herbalife French Vanilla shake mix
  • 3 ice cubes
  • BLEND + enjoy

Chocolate Banana Blend

  • ½ banana
  • 1 tbsp. of almond butter
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 scoops of Herbalife Chocolate shake mix
  • 3 ice cubes – (may need more because less fruit in this one)
  • BLEND + enjoy

Strawberry Date Smoothie

  • 3 whole strawberries
  • 1 – 2 dates (depending on your preference)
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 scoops of Herbalife French Vanilla shake mix
  • 1 scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen
  • 3 ice cubes
  • BLEND + enjoy

I hope you enjoy these recipes! These are the ones that I most often use in my daily routine. It really depends on what I am craving, but I most often opt for my trusty strawberry banana combo, or the spinach mango. They taste so refreshing after a day on the beach or a workout!
